Studio Recording

Recording in a studio is a great way to develop a collaborative working relationship and get the specific sound you're after. Immediate changes can take place & organic development tends to happen, as the space encourages ideas to be tried out on the spot.

Budget

Cost is dependent on budget, purpose & your intentions for your project.

The usual factors are considered, such as the number of songs, client, type of project, etc. However costs are mostly driven by the length of time spent in the studio and commute time.

Generally a recording session is about 3 hours, and of course there's flexibility on this too.

Recording Process

I take direction well, can sight read basic notation, and am efficient at adding harmonies. I like to try different approaches or colouring to my execution, but if you've something very solid in mind, I'm very happy to stick with it.

Adept at working with in the moment, my general ethos is 'do more', as it's better to have more to choose from.

If you need additional help with melodies, arrangements and lyrics, I'm always keen and proactive. Eventually we can start having a conversation about credits for the project.
